Sr. Cybersecurity Consultant - Public Sector Services

Job Summary:

The Sr. Consultant - Public Sector will lead the Public Sector projects including staff management, and service delivery.

*Note this is a fully remote position.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Leads a team of Staff Consultants for a multitude of cyber security and compliance-related consulting services, mainly NIST-based frameworks such as FedRAMP, and CMMC.
• Manages overall delivery of Public Sector consulting or assessing services to clients.
• Serves as the engagement day to day lead for service line-specific consulting or assessing engagements.
• Performs initial QA review of team deliverables prior to Manager submission.
• Leads client meetings including status updates, workshops, and assessment walkthroughs.
• Provides thought leadership in the form of authoring whitepapers and blogs, leading speaking engagements, and hosting webinars.
• Delivers a world-class experience for our clients.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Required Skills & Abilities:

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Visio or similar software.

Education & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Management Information Systems (MIS), Information Technology, or related field required.
• At least eight years of FedRAMP experience is required.
• FedRAMP experience at a 3PAO preferred.

Certifications:

• Currently possess at least one of the following certifications:
  • Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
  •  CompTIA Advanced Security Practitioner (CASP+ CE)
  • GIAC Certified Enterprise Defender (GCED)
  • GIAC Certified Incident Handler (GCIH)
  • GIAC Security Leadership (GSLC)
  • Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA)
  • Certified Information Security Manager (CISM)
  • Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP)
  • CISSP-Information Systems Security Architecture Professional (CISSP-ISSAP)
  • CISSP-Information Systems Security Engineering Professional (CISSP-ISSEP)
  • CISSP-Information Systems Security Management Professional (CISSP-ISSMP)
  • CyberSec First Responder (CFR)
  • Certified Chief Information Security Officer (CCISO)

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Must be able to access and navigate the facility.
• Must be able to lift to 15 pounds at times.
